She'll be off daily duty soon and I'll actually be able to wheel it. Plus going out of town can be a chore as my jeep doesn't love the highway. But definitely let me know when you're going out, id like to check out some new placed, we'd just have to drive old jeep speed there.

Oh, I forgot about it being your DD. Understand not wanting to toast the thing that gets you around. Seems like every trip I come back with something broken. The last 12 months have seen two shredded sidewalls and a busted shock, and that was only 'cause it was on jackstands for 6 months between work and an axle swap.
We can definitely go out. Most of the time, I go with a bunch of guys from NM4Wheelers. You can meet me there, I work hard to make sure my rig can cruise at 80MPH! I hate driving "old jeep" slow. Let me know some time and we can try to work the kinks out. What's wrong? bumpsteer, tramlining, pulling, etc?

see I can do 75 no problem. but I will occasionally get thrown into some light dw on the smallest bumps or if there's a lot of consistent bumps. my issue is I don't wanna get out there and hit a crappy part of highway and have to do 50 thorough it. but like I said a new daily will be here soon. just waiting on some cash.
I'll be honest, man, I've seen a LOT of steering setups, but I have NEVER seen one like yours, with the Tie rod OTK, but the drag link UTK direct to the knuckle instead of to the tie rod. The goal with a Draglink is to keep it as close to horizontal as possible. Even with a double shear drag link, you ar at a pretty steep angle there. Honestly, if you balance and align, and your Track bar is SOLID, I'd look at your steering set-up. For a couple bucks you can rip one out at the JY and throw it on to test. if that fixes it, you know what the problem.
Ball joints are a total PITA, but if EVERYTHING is bullet proof, they are probably the problem, but they are a fix of last resort IMHO.

Assuming you have had ALL of your tires balanced AND you did a front end alignment (a driveway alignment is fine, between 1/8th and 1/16 of an inch of toe in is fine) (If you HAVEN'T done these steps, do them FIRST!), usually any remaining DW is the trackbar bushing. A lot of times it is the upper. People who have Heim's on the upper trackbar virtually NEVER get DW. If you are 100% certain that BOTH end of the track bar are SOLID (usually with polyurethane bushing(s)) then best bet is either 1) ball joints or 2) steering.

I'm thinking it is my ball joints. the steering copies JCRs set up, it's like this so you can get the tie rod higher but keep the stock trackbar location. my frame side is a heim and I'll check the lower this weekend. I really need to get a double sheer bracket for it and plate my frame. at this point I'm done spending big cash on my current set up. when I swap axles everything will be new and aligned by a shop.
For a couple bucks, if you ARE having steering slop, try this, though I would probably try putting it on the drag link at the knuckle, though.
Of course, if you are going to bigger axles, there's always hydraulic assist, which I have heard also virtually eliminates DW.

my bad I meant the IRO crossover steering. but here's a better picture. it's not very steep Andy track bar and drag link are almost perfectly inline.

If you are worried that you need to plate your frame to support the track bar, that could be the issue.
Although looking at that picture, is your front sway bar just disconnected, or did you take it off completely?
No front sway bar could DEFINITELY be AN issue. Mine drives like a stuck pig with the sway bar disconnected. Not sure if would cause DW symptoms, but it would another place to look.
