You should be fine switching the title. My jeep has actually been "totalled" twice by insurance companies...hence the reason why I am so far along in my build. Hopefully this accident can benefit you in the same way

It totally will. The insurance check basically made my Miata cost me nothing, including a month of insurance and registration lol.
I'm assuming both times were in Colorado?

That's great to hear! Well long story short my jeep was totalled from a minor front end collision by the previous owner totaling the jeep (1st time totalled) I used all the money I had earned the previous summer and bought the jeep at a decent price. But during the summer I was driving my dads Dodge Dakota and one day coming home from work a lady made a crazy u-turn in front of me and I t-boned her going 45, I still have nightmares about it. From that accident my dad got his truck paid for and I received a check for some minor injuries sustained which netted me my re 4.5 lift with all the goodies. Which was a really good jump start! So then fast forward to this past year and on Halloween some soccer mom driving a minivan rear ended me basically tearing my driver rear qtr a bit but...that totalled it hah so from that I was able to make repairs and got some armor and long arms and lights and a radiator and on the way now...motor mounts?! Anyone wanna guess which company I went with? ( By the way sorry that's a bit long ) And to answer your question yes both times in Colorado lol

I've seen you around before! To bad I don't drive the xj anymore. It's turning into a trailer queen. I drive a white ford f550 with a flatbed. I'm also in loveland! Maybe I've seen you at jax?
