Denver bs thread
Hey guys,
So I'm moving out to the Denver/Aurora area within the next month or so and was wondering what the scene is like over there. I'm originally from IL, and we just had one legal spot, and here in Tennessee there's quite a lot more, including a 72k acre park. I always hear about the trails in CO so I'm excited. There a lot of Cherokee guys there? Only finding Wrangler guys in TN and they're not too accepting..

I just got a stock 1998 Cherokee and was wondering what trails would be good for me in the Colorado Springs area. Plan on putting a 3" lift on next year.

I am a Boulder native I see plenty of Xj's around but have not heard of any local groups. I know CU has an off road club but I'm not a student there so I would look for some Denver groups or maybe Northern CO. You could try mile hi jeep club mostly a bunch of wranglers.

Just got a street legal dual sport if anyone else has one and wants to trail ride. I can't afford to beat up my Jeep unfortunately! Going to be hitting blackhawk / pickle gulch, etc in the spring

Mnt. Herman has some mild trails that would be fun. Nolan lives down there we meet once in a while to kick the tires and hit those trails. Nice area. Lucky Nolan it is kind of his back yard. (5 min from his place)

I joined mile high jeep club with a Cherokee and a wrangler. The group I go with has a good mix of vehicles including a lifted patriot. Going for a ride tomorrow near central city co. Let me know if your ever up for wheeling Saturday or Sunday I haven't hit the Boulder area since moving to co but would like too.

Lots of awesome trails west/northwest of Boulder near Nederland..........
Some of my favorites up there......
I am usually available Saturday and Sunday to wheel also, as I don't work weekends...............(unless it snows heavy down here, and the plows go out, then I get called in to work snow-shift)

Trail Rides
I am trying to make my weekends free also, it was tough last season as I switch my schedule around and things got real busy. This coming summer I should be free to plan some trail rides when they are scheduled.
I hope to get together with other Jeep enthusiasts next season. Got to go a few times this year, met some great guys. Hope to do more next season.

Anyone want to go wheeling tomorrow? Need trail suggestions that are low enough to not have issues with snow and good for stock to 3 inch lift on 33's.

traildamage.com has a lot of good stuff for the area. i've been told to stay around the "3" rating for my jeep which is similar to your set up. 31s and open diffs.
