I am from FL/GA and this is honestly some of the best BBQ I have had -- they just do an excellent job on everything. They are open till they sell out, so if you want any Burnt Ends, I would show up closer to noon on a weekday. Weekends they can be crazy so be prepared.

Also go to Left Hand in Longmont, and if you make it down to Denver check out;

Renegade Brewing
Strange Brewing
TRVE Brewing
Former Future

Tons of great eating in Denver as well, Longmont also has great food.

Colterra in Niwot if you are into the "locavore" scene, and they have an epic patio.

It's slightly odd, but: Beau Jo's. Strange pizza. Tasty, but strange.

Hey guys,

So I'm moving out to the Denver/Aurora area within the next month or so and was wondering what the scene is like over there. I'm originally from IL, and we just had one legal spot, and here in Tennessee there's quite a lot more, including a 72k acre park. I always hear about the trails in CO so I'm excited. There a lot of Cherokee guys there? Only finding Wrangler guys in TN and they're not too accepting..

Tons of XJ folks here in Denver area...................I am in Aurora also...

I wheel with a few different off-road groups, and it's mainly Wranglers, but there is always a couple XJs in the mix, and nobody ever judges..........We all help each other out just the same, and everyone is welcome no matter what they ride............Toyota, Ford, Jeep, Nissan, etc..........

You are gonna love the trails out here!

Ya man wheeling is really good out here. And not too many people judge. I used to have a Cherokee but now I have a TJ and in all honesty I still like rolling with XJ guys the best cuz that's where I started haha.

Awesome! I don't care what people drive, as long as they're respectful and mature on the trails, it's all good. None of the lifted Wranglers wave down here, and the groups aren't too thrilled when a doorless XJ rolls up. I checked TrailDamage and saw nothing but blips all over to the west of Denver. It looks amazing.

I also saw a post on another forum about some guy's XJ being stolen in Denver. Are Jeeps really hot in the area, or the same as everywhere else? I'll probably be storing my XJ in a storage unit somewhere and taking it out to wheel, since I DD a ZJ and will be living in an apartment.

I hear you. I have more XJ friends than anything else, and they're more fun to roll with, at least from what I've experienced, but I may be a bit biased haha.

Who's got a ski pass? I just picked up the Summit Value pass. Figured while the mtb trails are snowed in, I'll get outside anyway. Also can't wait for the MX tracks to melt out so I can try a double day (ski laps and mx laps)
