Sounds good. I am kind of worried about getting it on the back of my truck, honestly! I have a 3.5" RE rear end, and I'm not very tall. I might be down for that Rampart. I still need to get an OHV tag for this bike

The tag is easy to do at any bike shop, but this late in the season... a fine is about the same cost as a tag...Up to you. The biggie is to make sure you have a spark arrestor!! Way bigger fine than no OHV tag. What kinda bike did you get?...I have to work this next weekend. Gotta push Rampart out to Sept 14...

Yeah I'm going to ride the MX tracks until the spring and see if I want to ride trails on it or not as I probably have to re-build a few parts for that bike if I want to trail ride it. Buddy I bought it off included a spark arrestor with the purchase as well as a few fork seals and odds & ends.

Today I was the first rig up the Chutes (Kelly Flats)
It didn't go so well lol, poor spotting and an open front and loose rocks got me wedged badly. Had to use a hi lift and some straps as a come along to get out. I busted a valve stem but luckily it held pressure enough to finish the trail and get home.

Anyone gone up Mill Creek Road in Vail this season?

I'm going to vail this coming weekend and want to get my tires a little dirty while I'm up there. My XJ is on 31s and a 4.5in lift, open difs, quick discos. Anyone know if I'd have any problems up there? I'm not looking for trouble, just a fun trail.

Quick feeler: my co-worker is looking to sell her XJ. It's not too noteworthy, except that it's a manual. Located in Denver.
98 XJ, mostly stock, 4.0L, Sport, NP231, manual, about 180k miles, has a budget boost I helped put on, has some hail damage but no rust.
It's in the shop right now because they think the clutch is dead. She's debating whether to sell it as-is or fix it first. She already got a Subaru replacement, so the Jeep is for sale either way. Send me a PM if you know somebody that might be interested. I'd hate to see it end up as a parts Jeep because everything else is still good.
