ND is a God-forsaken wasteland but the money is just laying on the ground. For any skilled/hardworking person really. The only thing that sucks is you have to go there to get the jobs- they won't post them online for the most part.

Montana is awesome if you enjoy the outdoors- Fishing is great, scenery is great. You can hike along way away from another human being. Hunting is great- Whitetail/mule dear- Elk-moose- bear- antelope- big horn sheep- wolves- and on and on. Plenty of awesome trails. Snowboarding/skiing. More land to camp on then most of the east coast combined. There is not a whole lot else though- No big shopping centers, No IMAX. No ammusement parks. No pro teams. Low crime rate and good schools for the most part. Plenty of snow in the winter.
I love it. Ive been all over the country and dont really want to go anywhere else. My wife is from Maryland however and she doesn't care for it much. Economy is solid (low unemployment) but it is hard to get rich.
Butte does have the largest saint Patrick's day celebration so if drunken street brawls are your thing, there is always that to look forward to lol.

I don't give a **** about sports...
Love to shoot sticks and lead at wildlife.
Hate big cities. Never go to Imax..... lol
Hate shopping unless it's for jeep parts.
Camping is #1 besides wheeling.
I'm just sick of the Oregonian life. Plan was Alaska But don't want a 5 day drive to see family. (I don't fly)

Western Montana (Missoula) seems to be trying to model themselves after Oregon. I just read an article calling Missoula "Mini Portland" after doing a city sanctioned naked bike ride lol.
The rest of the state seems to care much less about the birds/trees and are much more accessible for 4x4s/atvs etc. Still have to stay on the trails/ keep em clean but they are still open

For some reason I always assumed you were from Tennessee or something lol. (APP doesn't show location).

Wild Bill would be a riot this time of year. especially since its on the same mountain as a ski resort. #tonsofsnow
