Had a Blast with Ian and his Grandpa At Wild Bill on Saturday. Now my jeep makes a sweet noise when I turn left, so gotta check that out as well as a few other little things. Totally worth it though, that trail is pretty fun. Next time we will have to go up it and back through again.

For sure man! Had to pull my driveshaft for U-joints and saw my truss hit my oil pan skid pretty hard once haha- dented both slightly. Also smashed my exhaust. Definitely want to spend more time there next time! Oh yea... and bring a map.

It depends on which part you move too. Central Montana has the most and the best trails (Billings area). Plenty of trails with river crossings/rocks/climbs/scenery etc. They also have a extremely active 4x4 club which has some extreme rigs and makes frequent trios to Moab/Rubicon trail etc. Eastern Montana has more mud and the badlands have a bunch of hill climbing type areas. Western Montana (Missoula/Helena) is the most scenic but due to immigrating Californians (for the most part) the forest service has shut down most of the trails. There are still here but you have to drive further to get to them.

All in all there are a sh@& ton of trails but the state is huge so expect anywhere from a 1hr-10hr drive to get to them.

Butte is right between billings and Missoula. Plenty of trails in all directions. Just curious if you have considered ND? That is where the money is. The oil field is ridiculous. plenty of friends making over 100k with no degree/no cert no nothing. welders are over 100/hr

Good to know. I'm not a certified welder but have been burning metal for many years. Nordak might be an option.
