We have a group of at least 3 xjs going up Saddleback this Saturday the 23rd. Meeting at Cooks Corner at 930am. We are heading up through Silverado Canyon and coming down Bedford trail leading into Corona. PM me or respond here if anyone else is interested in going.

i have a 93 xj with the basic 3" & 31s setup. installing front and rear spartan lockers next week.. really eager to wheel after that if anyone is interested
i'm also curious as to how your xj's run and smell (this is my first xj/jeep)

Welcome. I'm in a 96xj with 3.5 inch lift and 31s. No lockers yet. We're always looking for more xjs to hit the trails with. We have a group of 3 that go pretty regularly and we usually post here before we go out. We went out last week, but I don't think we have planned out our next run yet.
I'm on my first xj/jeep too and I would say mine used to smell like a mixture of coolant and exhaust. But after replacing the cracked exhaust manifold and leaking freeze plugs, it now just smells like dirt from spending time on the trails :-D

I have the same coolant & exhaust smell (kind of a sweet smell), and I know i have to replace the freeze plugs in the back with the tranny dropped (already replaced the plugs under the manifolds)

Nice looking jeep buddy !!! You are more then welcome to do runs with us always looking for new xjers to hangout with !!! We're doing a run this weekend in cleghorn we always do local runs as well so pm one of us or myself and we could talk about it some more !! Hope to hear from you soon
