These were recently suggested to me by unidentifiedbomb in my build thread: http://hdoffroadengineering.myshopif...ation-brackets
They make brackets with lift and no lift, depending on what you want. I don't have any firsthand experience with them, but people seem to say good things. I'll probably end up getting the no lift brackets a little while after I get my XJ back up and running.

What did you guys do with your old stock parts after installing a lift? Just trash 'em? I have some of the rear components up on Craigslist, but I'm wondering if it's even worth the trouble now.
Anyone have any 3" or 3.5" coil springs?
Also ordered a new IRO track bar, arms, next up is steering and for that I might go to the guy that sly went to get his. Custom and will get rid of the Y setup.
Oh and some rear leaf brackets to fix angles. Have no idea what to get for this yet. Any ideas guys???

Yes I know the arc of travel is gonna be the same. What I'm failing to understand is why they won't improve ride quality and down travel over a stock or straight arm. The flatness of the bent arms compared to the harsh angle of the straight arm is telling me that it'll be a nicer ride especially at a measly 3" of lift.
Flex in either direction is gonna be minimal but ride quality should improve greatly because of less angle... Correct??

Found this site that has trucklites for 175$ each. Might actually order me a pair. Shipping isn't bad either.

That's where I bought mine except it was on their eBay store at $360 for the pair. Looks like I got swindled!
