Default Anyone in Paso Robles or nearby? Traveler needs a hand.

I am from Kansas City, MO and have been traveling around with the Cherokee and my wife. Today I had a little bit of a problem arise with my radiator as we were making our way inland on HWY 46 from the PCH where we visited Hearst Castle.

My point - I'm looking for someone to lend me a shop, driveway, or anywhere I can work on my Jeep. I should have all the tools I need and I have the radiator being shipped here as we speak... I just need a spot to drain coolant and park for a day or so while I do this Rad swap.

Any help would be appreciated! I would certainly be more than happy to buy you some beer or dinner!

If you can limp it south about 4hrs I'll lend a hand, or a corner of the driveway.

Thanks for the offer. I'm trying to head North as it is, and 4 hours might be a stretch for me.

You're on my beer list though. (My running tab of people I need to buy a beer)

As a Minister I am compelled to bump this Wish I was in your area man. Here's a thought...is there a Walmart close by? Depending on Municipality Regulations most Walmarts will allow you to camp out of the way at the far end of the parking lot overnight. I have had to do this many times before because I was broke down out of town. I always go ask to talk to the Manager who ends up being very nice and helpful if you promise to not make a mess while working on your Vehicle (Using Drain Pans, Etc.)

Wishing you luck man

Thanks for the Bump! I believe I have found a spot to work on my rig. Somehow we always tend to run into people who are willing to lend a hand. 😀

I am a firm believer that there are still some good folks out there, good to hear you were fortunate enough to run into these folks!

Hoping all goes well for you!

Wish I could bring my driveway to you, Wes...LOL

For anyone out there who reads this, Wes, his wife and I spent several days together, wrenching and hanging out. If you can help them out at all, please do. Great people.

Thanks Ronin. You were more than kind to lend me a driveway and some tools. If only I could have seen the future, this already would have been fixed. Lol

Haha!! Oh no worries man. I'll admit, a few of my college friends and I used to sit around, drinking and making fun of those guys. The game was every time someone acted like an idiot, we drank. Eventually we started taking turns drinking because we would get hammered in about 5 minutes.

Anyway, we are pumped to see the East coast now
