Yeah I have the smallest one there. Just got it and and did a 3" and 31's last week. I didn't want to beat her up too bad, so after overheating the cps and having to sit for 20 minutes letting her cool off I kind of babied her the rest of the day. This is mine.

Thanks Brian, I'm glad you invited me. It was one of the best Sunday's I had in years. We're going to have to start putting parts together to get mine a little higher and geared. Those 307's are killing my clutch. Although it drove pretty well on the way home. I take it you made it home alright? I think I blew a fuse or something after I charged my battery cause all of my dash lights are out. Something else to do today a long with replacing my broken window and stolen stereo.(gotta love crack heads in Sf)

Looks like you guys had a great time! Hopefully I will get my ride a little higher by the time you go back to Hollister, I believe it is the closest spot for me. Ditto from me to Chris on being a cool guy. Thanks again for the great deal on the rims and tires hand-me-downs.

Kager, we have almost identical cherokees. Haha i have the 5speed also and i know what you mean about it the wearing out your clutch. Mine has a 4.5in lift though. I need new control arms though. I get very little flex up front.

Yeah Dale that night after you left here some a$$hole broke out my window and stole two iPods a cell phone my junk cd player and all the change(which they threw all except the quarters on the sidewalk, apparently nickels dimes and pennies are worthless to them). So unfortunately the only windows that pic n pull had were tinted. So here is my only one tinted window. Lol the good thing is is that I when I was at the JY I found a rear sound bar for 20 bucks. Plugged right in to factory harness and works good.

That sucks to hear about the window and the ipods. At least it was only the small one and you got it fixed.
Still on 3.07s :/ it's fine as long as I don't have to to start and stop going uphill. I figure when my tires wear out I'll go to 33s and regear to 4.56s all at the same time.
I recommend looking into shackle relocation brackets. They will add about 3/4 to an inch of lift, and you can always pick up some longer shackles to get your desired ride height. It will be cheaper or about the same as new leafs, and you can adjust your shackle angle and keep a smooth ride in the rear. I have 4.5in leafs with a ****ty angle and it's rediculously stiff... To the point where it pisses me off if I drive on a bumpy road. That's what I'm gonna do anyway once I get a job. Idk what your budgets like but you should shop around for long arms when you go up!
Oh quick question, who owns that steel blue Cherokee with the tire carrier? Did it have a winch on the front and long arms? I think I saw it at jeep fest a few weeks ago in the parking lot. I remember looking at the tire carrier and taking pictures lol

Hey Kager, we do have a good place to wheel. It's called Cow Mt. and it's about 40 miles north of Santa Rosa. The exit off Hwy 101 is the main exit at Ukiah (forgot the name). From there, you go east and follow the signs to BLM's Cow Mountain off-road area. It's Very Big! It may be twice the area (or more) of Hollister Hills. Bikes and 4x4 trails all mixed together and marked for difficulty and vehicle type. It's a fun place, and...you can camp overnight at a few campgrounds. There are no fees for anything! Bring firewood.

I actually have been to cow mountain, however it was for work. We were in the part where you have to go through security (by the steam turbines). Unfortunately I was in my work truck (06 gmc. 2500 HD dmax) and I can't beat on it. Lol I didn't notice any entrances for a offload park? I actually saw an abandoned snow cat parked up there that I tried to buy. Too bad AT&T wouldn't sell it. What do you think!
