Well I headed up there and had a good time. I ran the three trails that there is but not the rock garden that I heard about after I got back to town ill have to check it out on another trip.
First trail I ran is called deer pin just as cool as the name (add hint of sarcasm) I would rate it an easy to moderate depending on wetness. the entrance is by the second rock pit to the left down a little just past c-loop in the jones creek ovh area. Running it backwards seemed a little more fun.
Second trail was called hagen creek once you have ran deer pin and exit out on to the 1500 road you can head to the left and down the road a little bit that where hagen creek start it has a bit of a filter and I think it is the longest of the three trails moderate on the low side I would rate it. Some coarse rock tight spotsand a steep decline is what the first half of this trail features second half is incline on much rock and some tight spots. I didn't run this backwards as there were signs showing wrong way if done so. The exit is on the right side from jones creek at the second rock pit.
The third trail I ran is called mountain view trail cause of the veiw of mt hood from parts of the trail. This trail was fun another filtered one and some big rock all over the trail in parts anlong with stumps. One is big enough I caught with my rocker (3.5"-33x12.50") some tight spots also in this trail. And another one you can run backwards which is just as fun. Moderate rating.
My thoughts on these trails if your close and got half a day to kill it would be fun to check out and I believe even more fun after a good rain when the trails get wet. If you looking for hardcore trails not here at least not yet. There is only 5 miles of trail with another 30 to come along in the seasons to come. Beside some of the views and the rock garden only seen some pictures after I had came back. It ok and will be decent to test out a new mod before you headed out somewhere else thats got harder trails.

Hi, did you get any pics?

Was looking on the link, it mentions discover passes?? What is that all about, I'm from England so not clear on the terminology.
Sounds like a great place to go.

The pass is a pass to be in the woods but only need it if you stop your rig. If you drive your rig and dont stop you dont need it. It cost $30 for the year or $10 a day really a way for the state to make money and fine people to dont buy one. Just to be in the woods.

Nice shots, it looks very dry out there.
We don't need passes like those here, but they screw us on fuel tax charges instead.
