I pulled a spare tranny from my 90 for the 88

Used some flat steel to make some a pillar light brackets. I have them cut just need to pull the welder out tomorrow

um ... plz explain?

... there seems to be far too many levers, unless you have some kind of bucket / loader on it ???

Me - figured the hesitation / missing may be bad Throttle Pos. sensor..??

--> looking for TPS testing info anyone?

Bought a (new) xj $800. 200k miles. 1990. Stock as ****. Blew up my old one. Cheaper to find a new rig. Time to swap everything I've got and get back out on the trail

took out the half cage and installed another seat its back to being a four seater time to start full cage designs

I'm still working with the TPS and MAP sensor trying to get it to drive smooth (without hesitation, jerks, sputters, & little back-fires) - !@#$%^!!

The XJ was down for a week, had to cut out one balljoint and last minute order new axles with the joints pressed in (long story regarding not having a press). After that everything went back together smooth.

Goodluck with your TPS and MAP sensor not sure what could be causing your shifting issues.
