Hopefully soon the deployments will cut back to a normal and less frequent cycle. I held off on doing so much stuff to my rig in anticipation of going back again.

During the summer there is ,it`s called NAXJA NW Fest. It was started a few years ago, they have been held in the Liberty and Little Naches areas of Washington and at Tillamook in Oregon, they have been open to all Cherokee ,stock to modified .I don`t think anybody has put one together as a "cruise in all hiway meet-n-greet". That would be good for those that don`t want to just run trails and sink there rigs in mud .

NAXJA's NWFest '09 ftw. (My old rig's 3rd from the front) In this photo I took...this was one group of maybe 3 large ones. I believe it was upwards of 100 people over the weekend, and like 50 rigs?

Cruises are cool, but unfortunately don't attract as much attention (as far as people taking days off) as wheeling events seem to do. I'd suggest starting a big winter camping run, that's something that doesn't happen to often (other then the Hypo run NAXJA guys do).
