Default Walker Valley Run Wednesday, 15 July 09

The boy (1987XJ) and I (BuckB91XJ) worked all weekend getting his 4.56 gears put in. They are done and we are planning a trip up to Walker Valley, Wednesday, to see how well they work. Anybody who wants to come along post up. It's the boy's normal day off. I am going to be sick that day....lol. Should be a good time. We've had a little rain so the trails shouldn't be all dry and boring. His Jeep broke on Expressway the last time we were up there together so, that is the first trail he wants to run. I'm going go up the rock face on Expressway...even if I have to cheat and use the hook. Wednesday is perfect because we won't have the normal 1.2 Bazillion bikes up there like on the weekends.

If I can't find one off of a GC this weekend I might get that one from you. I kinda want to grab one with the pitman arm still attached.

Bobby,

I could pull the steering box with pitman arm attached off of my son's 88 parts Jeep and meet you somewhere halfway. Hell, you can have the PS pump, too, if you need that. Don't mess with grabbing one from the scrap yard. This one is free because you're a friend. Let me know if you want to do it.

Buck

Brandon,

Gears are easy, though, I have to say I would much rather put new gears in a Dana axle than one of those ChryCo 8.25's any day.

Brian, would saturday be good for you. I still have that axle shaft and hub. It is from a non disco axle, so I don't know if it is the same kind you need.

Bring it along. I'll take a look at it and see if I can use it. So, where would you like to meet up? The PS pump and hoses are already spoken for but, you can have the Steering box with pitman arm.

On saturday I got to pick up my father in law at SEA/TAC at 1625. So I would like to meet sometime before that. I could drive all the way through Seattle and mee you somewhere on your side. It's really up to you. Any time around 1500-1530 is ok with me.
