I had to stop in the middle of loading my pictures and telling my story to help my son put a new steering column in his Jeep. That ended up taking the rest of the night...LOL. Anyhoo......as they say, here is the rest of the story.

Here's more. I did a lot of wheeling before the roll episode. Okay, so I my mission on this trip to Walker was to find the old trails I wheeled on years ago. The first picture in this group shows the water fall which was the entry point of the old North Creek Trail. I was pretty jazzed about finding it. So, I went farther down the road and found the old Old Grade Trail which I thought and was still marked as a Jeep trail. Well I found out as I got further and further into it, that it is now a Bikes Only trail. As you can see it's pretty narrow in that spot where I dumped it on it's side. I was actually in the process of trying to back out when it went over. I could have winched myself out of it but, some bikers came along and helped me out and got me on my way a little sooner. Guess I'll quit talking bad about having to share the trails with bikers from now on.

So, I took a short break and brushed the big globs of mud off and continued wheeling. I wasn't going to let a little dump on it's side and a few more dents ruin my day. Here are more pics. The side mirror even snapped back on after being ripped off. I'll need to get some new glass for it, though. I even found a little snow to play in up on top. Brandon, BTW, the Maxxis's work great in the snow!!

Here are a few more pics from Running the Lower Mainline Trail. Bobby, notice in the last close up pic of the front end. LOL....I finally got that track bar adjustment nut tightened up.

A few more pics from the Lower Mainline, then I headed for home. I found out the valve stem on my driver's side right tire was crushed in rollover. So, I couldn't air it back up. So, I aired up the other tires, threw on the spare, hooked up my sway bar links and headed for home. I'm going to wash it up here in a few minutes and see what dents I can pop out. I'll take a few more pics when I'm done.

Just realized my typing skills are as good as always. That was the driver's side front tire that the valve stem was crushed. Anyway, off to see if I can clean this thing up a bit.

Them trails look pretty narrow. Good luck on popping out the dents. Just show your wife the pics of you on your side. And sell her on getting an exo cage done.

It looked a lot better after the wasj job. I was able to pop quite a bit of the dents out. Instead of 3 HUGE dents which covered most of the side, I now have a few small dents that I can live with.

Well, unfortunately due to logging the trail with the waterfall ends at a big pile of brush about a 100 yards from one of the main roads. You do still get to climb the whole waterfall and go about a 1/4 mile further but, it's pretty tight where you have to turn around. No more than 2 rigs at a time could run the trail. I'm going to have to do some snooping around and see if I can get a club, with the DNR's blessing, to push running that trail on out to the road.
Well, I'm glad you've finally seen enough of what Walker has to offer, to wet your whistle. I would really like to have the whole crew come up and run Walker one day with me. I ran into a bunch of Wranglers and Toyotas Saturday. The closest thing to an XJ was a lone MJ wheeling with a couple Wranglers.
Bobby, the wife still doesn't know about me laying the Jeep on it's side. She just figured the new dents were regular trail damage....LOL.
I did see a couple of new trails that the Timber Tamers 4x4 club are working on up in Walker. So, we're getting more new trails all the time.
