Haha I wish it's going in my moms 69 Camaro. It's a .30 over 327, 202 heads. Performer cam, 650 cfm carb, and eldebroke high rise intake. Gunna have a borgewarner 4 speed behind it.
I'm looking forward to having the axle done to! Then I won't be spending so much money like I am right now. Haha. Plus I won't be constantly worried about breaking the old 30 with it locked and 35's. plus I'm also looking forward to the unlocking hubs.

Well I got some more work done on the truss/ mounts. Used 3/8" plate to go up and over the dif, then across to the passenger side mount. Gunna use some 3/16" to make the upper passenger side mount. And weld the drivers side mount directly to the 3/8's over the dif.

Well I finished up all the mounts on the 44,

Got the old tired turdy 30 out,

And wrestled the heavy *** 44 into place to check fitment and design and build the steering and track bar mount. Then it will be pulled again, painted disassembled and taken in to be geared. Then goes on all the cool new parts! Getting close

Got in my order of gears, overhaul/install kit, u joints, and steering. Also ordered up a spartan locker today as well and will be dropping off the axle to be geared on Tuesday.

Also welded up the DIY dif cover the other day.

Tore down the axle today. Painted up the spots I missed. And decided to clear coat the dif cover leaving it in the bare metal finish. Also pulled off the rear tires, and bolted up the rear adaptors. All set to drop off the axle on Friday, given that the spartan shows up that morning!

Then picked up a new light for the Jeep Take 2 @ whidbey crawler-image-1556067387.jpg Take 2 @ whidbey crawler-image-487682715.jpg Take 2 @ whidbey crawler-image-1687784076.jpg

Also got a new Job working at a 4 wheeling shop, been building some awesome rigs lately. Stretching a TJ front and rear king coil overs custom rear 4 link. Aside from the 46 miles one way commute it's a bad *** job.
