Default PACNORWEST Who Is Going Wheeling This Weekend?????

Cherokee Forum Pacific Northwest Chapter, who is planning on going 4wheeling this weekend? My son (1987XJ) has a rare Sunday off so we are planning on going wheeling Sunday. Right now it is just going to be another run up to Walker Valley but, if anybody was planning on being at Reiter Pit or even Evans Creek, I would much rather go to one of those two places....or if any of you guys want to meet us up at WV Sunday morning you are all more than welcome to join us. The more XJs, the merrier.

Last chance to tag along with us to go run Walker tomorrow. Well, Just so you all can take advantage of upcoming events and actually get your off road rigs OFF ROAD, there will be 4wheeling runs on the following places on the following dates. I will be personally going on all of them. Just post up on this thread with any questions you may have about how to get to each place.

1.) Sunday, 20 Sept 09, Walker Valley
2.) Saturday, 26 Sept 09, Evans Creek
3.) Saturday, 10 Oct 09, Tahuya State Forest

These are all awesome 4wheeling spots. Hopefully you all can make it to one or all of them. If you can't make it a priority to at least attend one of these awesome 4wheeling runs, you may as well turn your Jeep in to Cash for Clunkers. A lifted XJ sitting in a driveway over a weekend is a really sad thing to see.

The boy and I went up to Walker and had an awesome run. We went around the gate and went up the Lower Mainline Trail and then we went down the Upper Mainline Trail. We had a good day. No breakage. No stuckage...and we took some cool pics. I'll get them posted as soon as I get my camera straightened out and the pics will transfer to the puter. We saw a black XJ with neon green bars that was sportin an XJ Talk sticker. Then just as we were leaving the pit to head home, we saw another black XJ and a red XJ. Lots of CJs, YJs and TJs all over the place. We XJ dudes really need to meet up there in force sometime. I'd love to fill the pit (parKing lot) of Walker with XJs one day in preparation for an awesome day of wheeling.

I will check on it with the Whidbey4x4 guys. If they aren't going, The wife will be out of town the weekend of the 10th and 11th so I will be going 4wheeling somewhere. Most likely Reiter Pit.

Most of Tahuya looks to be possible with an open diff. You can bypass quite a bit.
