Not mine but one of the group. Not much XJ left in this one.

Mines not as impressive, but the only thing I can't make it through is the damn mud holes.

"Casky" It's about 15 miles from Darrington. Its at the end of Concrete Sauk Valley Rd. Lots of mud, there's a beach on the river. It's definitely a good place to hang out. We camped there all weekend.

Its at the end of the bridge, you go up the switch backs. turns to gravel at the Y.
When you get to the power lines 4 way, we take a left, we camped about a half mile from the gravel pit. If you follow those roads in, you'll cross a creek. There's a lake to the right of the 4 way, first left after that, then a right. Trails everywhere, lots for quads lots wide enough for bigger rigs.

I must say that was a great gathering at the meet and greet last Saturday. Was a lot of fun watching the guys with built rigs goof around on the medium slabs.
Nice XJ!

Nice XJ!
Yeah I had no idea it was the gathering it was going to be I did not know Mr.Bloom snd Mr.Lowanstein were having open house and stuff to drive over...lol...unloaded my half finished project since driving over stuff is always appealing and then about half into it recalled that my 1/4 inxh belly skid was still sitting on my trailer deck , so my Atlas was just waiting to get smacked...turns out from the concrete gouge marks all the noise was just control arms pummling those concrete barriers...I was super pleases that even my half finished work can be driven point and shoot style no failure ...lol...even the drive shafts were made at home.

I asked if you had a welder b/c if you do not I can burn the stiffeners on for you on a weekend ...a shop will charge a few hundred ...lol...I am free .

Thanks for offering, I do have a decent enough welder. Lincoln 140 w/gas. And have done this kind of stuff but, I have a ton of things to get done before I can burn them in. I'm not as hard core as most but do want to armor-up my rig so that when I venture into things that my rig won't handle. I can take out my hook of shame and drag myself over it. I really am planning on getting the T-case/cross member they sell. I could make something but what they are making for XJ's is slick as h*ll and I could not make one that nice.
I still can't believe I won those. I have already plated my front to fix my frame rail. (steering crack).
