Default jubilee lake 8-30-09

took the day and went to jubilee lake, did a little fishing, hiked around the lake, just a great day out in nature.
pics are from various points around the lake, i seen two signs with different distances around the lake. one said 2.5 miles and one said 4 miles, either way it was a nice walk and has a path all the way around.

The scenery up here is pretty amazing compared to Florida.

you should come try going to that lake in april, theres usually between 10 and 18 feet of snow. we do a snow run there every year for longer than i can remember, maybe even longer than i have been alive. the guys comming in from walla walla can usually make it in but not the guys comming from tollgate. there is a turn that is usually blocked by all the snow.

with snow

without snow

The whole blue mountain range has amazing scenary and jubilee lake is like my favorite place in the world... Also snowboarding and skiing up in that area is awesome too... that makes a hell of a day, go snowblowing with the jeep and then hit the slope... its all fun until you freeze your balls off cuz you forgot to grab your snow pants.... ( dont ask) LOL
