Default jeep wont start

So my jeep won't start. The starter is going the battery seems fine.

So if I can't get this thing going by the 30th. I may have to drive my truck up and sit shotgun if there is any seats open.

Any suggestion?

Leo, So does it crank but not start or does it not even crank? Do you know if you're getting spark at the plugs and if you have good fuel pressure?

CPS is usually a good place to check.http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/...iagnostics.htm

No it doesn't even turn over as far as I can tell.

I hear the starter going and going but not much more.

The weeks or so before this happen I noticed it would be harder to start. Take a minute or two sometimes. Once it died while I let it warm up.

But now it won't start. It ran fan even on the days it was hard to start.

I am not sure how I would check fuel pressure.

As far as spark I guess I can pull a plug and see if it sparks.

I look into the cps thing also.

I looked into the cps issue on different sights and that really looks like the issue.

I will try replacing that.

Before you buy one try the connector, unplug it and clean it. then check it for condition and security on the bell housing. Mine would wiggle loose and my rig would just shut off driving down the road. If you do get a new one I would suggest doing this mod.

I checked the connection and it looks good. Tried to wiggle everything.

All seems well so I got the sensor I will modify the sensor and install soon.

ok so i took the old sensor off. then i did the mod to the new one. i got all put together.

it was still a little hard to start but it started and much sooner.

then i took it for a test drive. it was nice to drive it again.

now for the bad and for the help needed again.

so if i give it throttle it feels like the engne is bucking. not sure if that is knocking?

when i drive it i cant go faster then 15mph. and if a hills envolved i am screwed. i try to give it throttle and it starts to buck and pop.

what is wrong? i this sensor bad? is it possible that it is not seated correctly since it now slided on.

is something else wrong now?

help help help
