Got my Napier flat flares mounted. Was super easy install. I took quite a few pics but here's a few for now.

Thanks Doug. Looking sharp for sure.
Got my bores prepped and rod/main bearings in. I had to send my old pistons and rods out to get the pins pressed out and on the new pistons. Should have those back Monday to start assembly of the short block.
I'll be dissasembling the new head tomorrow to check valve stem clearances and installing the new main bearings.
And to anyone who thinks they can get there stock leaf spring bushings out to reuse them in new leafs forget it. Mine are in good shape but the are one with the leafs so new ones to be ordered tomorrow.

I got my mom some h4 housings and 80/100 bulbs with a putco harness for Xmas. Can't wait for her to see the difference.
I haven't added h4 housings to mine yet but the harness alone was a big increase in visibility.

Yes doing a 4.5 stroker. My bores where the only thing showing minimal wear. My block has been honed already. Scat crank came in with king bearings. Now just waiting on rods. Rods will be here on the 31st

I'm doing a short rod version because id bought pistons already for a 4.0
I'll be right at 9.49:1 compression. So as lean as these 4.0 are set to run i plan on running premium.
All you need!
$150 Speed pro std pistons/rings
$420 crank
$50. King rod main bearings for 99 block
$160 4.2 refurbished rods

Motors out. Got block stripped down with just the cam still in it at the moment.
I can't believe how filthy the passenger side of motor was. Down right embarrassing.
