New master cylinder installed ($72 later) peddle feels great but brake light on dash is still lit up. Not sure why but haven't looked into it yet. Thinking just pressure switch maybe..

Thanks Doug! I hope I can find time here to finish last flare. My time has been consumed by my Buddy Phil who just bought a 2000 green xj that needs a motor. And my buddy Tony who has a 2000 WJ that I'm doing head gaskets and timing chain on 4.7 v8.

I got my 4° axle shims, rear brake shoes, rear brake hardware kit, and spare u-joint for my rear driveshaft here on Friday.

Rear brake shoes on with new hardware kit done last night. I'm glad I got hardware kit as the original parts where in terrible shape. I need to find a affordabaffordable source for some new drums. Mine are not grooved or anything but measure past max diameter.

Today I'll be doing my degree shims putting my drive line back in with the new joints then I think I'm gonna raise back end up about half inch with the overload springs as I'm in process of moving and hauling loads and have been sitting a lil lowrider in the back.

Next Wednesday I'll be ordering a set of core 4x4 adjustable lower control arms and picking up my WJ buckets.

Anyone interested in my factory black 1999 xj seats with the adj headrest make me offer. They are in great shape except drivers side has small tear on door side of seat. Otherwise nice pair of seats.

I absolutely love the torque of this stroker motor. I'm sure its comparable to regearing. I can't wait to regear though as it will be ever more enjoyable. But for now its way more power and you put your foot into it and it just hauls. Kinda wish I would have stuck with the 33" tires but overall great performance. Stroker can be done for a lot cheaper than what I did. Keep an eye out for a 4.2 crank cause its worth every penny.

My plan is to cut bottom of the doors and do the 2x6 box tube sliders but haven't had the time to dig into it. My rockers are so beat already I'd just be protecting dents at this point lol. I also have doors that are my factory color to replace my banged up drivers side doors but waiting till I do the box tube sliders. From as busy as I've been, it would be this winter or following spring project. Defiantly on the list.

Got my tow hitch back on today so I can tow home a new project this week.

Also lowered my tire pressure from 32psi to 20 psi because my jeep was riding rough. My tires are load range D and 50 psi max and 32psi was just too high. Jeep rides real smooth now.

Also ordered a new auxiliary fan as mine was real loose and bearing was shot. $48 shipped for that.

Yeah tti headers where not in my budget. I have less than $300 into my home made headers. I built my drivers side with a cut flange and two slip fit connectors so the header would install much easier than tti but still fit just as nice. Mine are also 1.75 w/ 3" collectors.

I can't seem to get pics to load up but I have pics over on ForABodiesOnly.com in the early a body section under tips and pics for custom headers. I believe I've seen your car and the purple barracuda over on that site. I'll try again tomorrow to post some of my header pics.
