wheeler, right up the road from you is a town called Belfair. About 10 minutes outiside of Belfair is the Tahuya State Forest ORV area. Literally, from Gig Harbor, you can be there in about a half hour or less. Google search for Tahuya state forest. There are maps showing you exactly how to get there and maps of the trail system. The 4x4 Loop Trail is the main Jeep trail. You should check it out.
