Sounds reasonable, I'd rather buy locally and 300 is about what the or-fab ones run. Let me know when I can pick them up :-)

Ya but with the light holes running the full length/width of the light and a notch where the hatch meets the light like this. Are you going to bend the plate to match the body or cut and weld an angle into the plate, or is the armor going to stop at the body line like bill88xj's (prior post)?

I agree. What are your plans on the two curves on the body? How you going to roll 3/16 plate?

I had recently ordered a set of JCR rock sliders. So while I had an open line of communication with them, I ask them about their rear quarter panel armor and if I could get some added features like the ones listed above.
They said that wouldn't be a problem, since they make them to order anyways.

i like a little bit bigger rig mainly cargo space. a xj is a bit on the limited side and i just cant seem to get over it. also i want factory heated seats and some other junk like: abs and tcs. factory coil sus, 4 link & radius arms and disk brakes all the way around.

the jeeps been a good rig. very affordable to build reliable. great in snow there's all sorts of parts axles t-cases and other things you can bolt in out of other rigs. xj certainly is a great rig

and you want it to be reliable like your jeep? Land Rover and reliable should never be used in the same sentence.
