Anyone from Dayton, Wa?
I'm moving there next week and just wanted to see if anyone was from the area. I hear it is primarily toyota 4x4s. Not to many jeeps.

From tri cities, but drive through Dayton everyother weekend or so headed to my in-laws cabin. Let me know if you want to head out in snow come winter time.

I drove around town looking for a place to rent the other day. Defiantly saw more bobbed yotas than built jeeps. Not that it really matters though.
96fsxj - I'll head up to the snow with you. Not sure how my current tires will handle snow. They are pretty skinny. 245/75 16 If I can save some money I want to try and get something a little wider. I'm actually from Kennewick, but have been moving around for different jobs. First to Goldenhell for a position in the jail there, but now I'm going to Dayton to be a Deputy.

Good deal, Congrats on the new job. Ill have to keep my eye open on the way through.
A little more tire never hurts in the snow, I had 31x10.50 this year trying to follow my father inlaws Toyota on 38" gumbos and it was a little tuff to say the least but a ton of fun

My brother is trying to pawn his bow off on me since I will be over there, he thinks I should start archery hunting. I grew up hunting around Lyons Ferry w/ modern rifle.
Also have walked around Godman Springs area looking for elk, but never had any luck.
I'm hoping to do some turkey hunting next season

If you don't mind shooting a doe, its pretty easy to get one during archery in the tucannon. Bucks are a little more work, but you can't eat the horns anyways.
Haven't had much luck with turkeys, but I've never tried very hard/knew what i was doing chasing turkeys lol. Maybe one day ill run one over driving up to hunt, that's my best chance I think...

Haha I've almost hit turkeys going snowboarding a few times. Had the chance to take out a whole turkey family the other day. Right in the middle of town. I slowed down though to give the little once a chance to get across the street. The GF would have been pissed if I turned her car into a turkey killer

Well I'm over in Dayton and working now so let me know when you are going to do some wheeling. I might even be able to get to the Tri Cities if you are going around there.
