ZJ break swap

ZJ break swap
So i been searching while at work today. I am thinkin bout doing this swap i just have to find the right ZJ in a JY. my question that i have not been able to find is if i do this swap will i be getting rid of the C-Clip on the axle since it will be held in differently?

If you don't use the c-clip the axle will move back and forth and kill your brake pads fast. I drove mine with a broke shaft just back to the trailer which took all of 30-45 minutes and had to replace the pads.

HUh okay. just pain in the A$$ dealing with that c-clip i cant imagine doin it on the trail, knock on wood never had to, with all that said. is it true 96 zj is the best rear to pull the whole break assembly from?
