Default Xj Dana44 brake shoe size

Hey guys, can't find any help in Australia about my xj dana44 I need new break shoes but are unsure on the size I need to order. Can anyone tell me what size I need. Thanks Luke

This should help
Nine and a half inch brakes are 1 3/4 inches wide
Ten inch brakes are 2 1/2? inches wide
Also what year is your JEEP? If it's an 87 these #s are most likely right.

Not sure of exact year as it was bought from USA and shipped over. I'm assuming around that time period. They are 10" drums so I would need 2.5 drum shoes?

The simplest way to tell is if the brake drums have fins they are 10". If no fins 9".

make sure they order the 10x2.5"....i had a really hard time getting the correct parts for my XJ-44, ended up having to order them through crown.

none of the auto parts stores hardware kits or shoes were correct.
