I am truly a newb. Is the door loom where the wires go between the door and the interior? Don't see any and a little tug on each end did find anything loose.
I saw a new master switch on Amazon for $27. Not knowing what else to do, I would probably try replacing that

So today is a sad day, the first one I have lost an XJ, we had a hailstorm come through last Thursday and well she is totaled.
My question is do I take the full amount from the insurrance and go try and find a new one or buy it back and use what I get to start fixing her?
They also totaled another of my cars which totalled 5700 they are gonna give me 3600 for mine...
That's a lot of money for parts and to rebuild my Moyer and put the lift I want under her
Or I can take the money and and find another non hail damaged one...

So when you say 'Totaled' do you mean the hail left Golf-ball like dimples all over it?

Well, gents, I am ready to upgrade the injectors on my '99 4.0 Cherokee to 4-hole units. I plan on buying some of the ones on E-Bay listed as Bosch, but I see some advertised as 19 pounds and some advertised as 24 pounds. Not sure which ones to buy and would really appreciate some help on this.

This is from the Colorado DMV:
A salvage vehicle is a vehicle damaged by collision, fire, flood, accident, trespass, or other occurrence, excluding hail damage, to the extent that the cost of repairing the vehicle to a roadworthy condition and for legal operation on the highways exceeds the vehicle’s retail fair market value immediately prior to such damage, as determined by the person who owns the vehicle at the time of such occurrence or by the insurer or other person acting on behalf of such owner. [See C.R.S. 42-6-102(17)(a)(I)]
Since it is hail damage salvage title does not actually apply. The insurance company buy back on it is only $887. I will be taking that option to keep it as I am very sentimental about by first XJ.
I will buy an additional XJ (that's in better condition) with the money from my other vehicle that was totaled. My plan is to build the one I buy into a moderate DD rig. And then for my Original XJ build it into a beast of an off road rig. I should probably start a thread to detail the adventure.

So, recently my high beams stooped working. Low beams work fine but when I switch over to high beams, all the lights turn off untill I switch back to low beams, but sometimes they work fine, then I hit a bumpy road and the stop again. By the way, i have H4 headlights and the upgraded harness. Any idea as to what's causing this? Thanks
Mine do this every now and then because I need to replace the ring terminals where I have it connected to the battery.

Does anyone have plans to a diy trailer hitch flag pole? I just got a welder and I think this would be a nice introductory project.

Well I was told today (kinda saw it coming but hoped it wasn't true) I probably need one or both driveshafts, also there is play in the transfercase outputs so I guess that needs a rebuild also. I'm going to go to Carolina driveline and get my driveshafts checked out, also I figure I'll tackle the transfercase rebuild. Not too hard, just not sure what all parts I should get when doing a rebuild. Obviously a bearing kit, and I'll have to find out which bearing for the advanced adapters sye I used (anybody know a part number or anything?) I guess chain would be a good idea, just go factory or something else? Also upgrade the planetary? Or should I just do a basic back to oem rebuild basically? My plan is to Max at 33s with 4.56 gears to give an idea of the stresses. Thanks in advance!

cut a piece of 2" square tube as long as you want it to stick out, drill a 9/16 hole where the pin goes through, weld ~1 foot piece of 1 1/2 inch conduit on at ~90* angle and then drill a 1/4 inch hole in the conduit and cut a piece of 1 inch Pvc pipe however long you want with a couple 1/4 holes to adjust height, 1/4 pin and some rings on the Pvc to ziptie the flag loosely to so it can spin at redlights an
