Not only that, but why do we have to torue that GD bolt back on to 130 ft/lbs.... FU whoever thought that kind of crap was necessary... Get a grip!

That ******* bull***** screwed me up for two days!!!
1 day to find out that new belt is not going fix anything unless that ******* pulley come off of the damned thing....another day to get that ************ off.... 2 GD different specialty tools!
For what it was, that was the most ridiculously bull**** thing I have ever done to a car. I hate this Jeep about now..................

Please tell me that newer cars and trucks have something way better for a pulley than this g-dammed '88 Heep of **** has...
I could have pulled the whole damned engine out in the time it took to do the single ******* pulley....

Seriously, I replaced the entirety of the steering components in 2 hours.... This single f'n pulley took 7 or 8......and all my strength and energy......
Everything better be much easier than that bull**** else I am going to drive that mother****er into a lake....that is if it actually makes it to the lake.....which is quite a stretch considering this Phoenix Arizona.... Atleast it wasn't a ******* oven out today...

The only plus side is that the Heep drives again and it has shut the hell up with that whole "CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK''' FU SHUT UP JEEP! ...leaving me with only 8 or 9 more rattles and clicks to stifle....
I also managed to not bloody my hands, which is kind of a big deal, though I did **** up my shinbone but good and I know that crap bled.....the pant leg is sticking to my shin... :P :P :P :P :P

You may be asking how I jacked up my shin doing this....I had to give that single pulley every bit of strength that I had...including my legs , and when that **** slips, like it always does, the first thing to go is some skin....
Hopefully tetanus won't consume me...

Huh... I never had an issue with mine... and I had to do it 3x! Cheater pipe and AutoZone rental. Glad you got the best of it in the end!

The bolt is torqued to 130 so rotational force doesn't cause it to loosen. Be smarter than a bolt and it would be simple. My truck requires 200 ft lbs..... I was able to take it off without touching the ratchet.
