ok well I kinda just bought it haha spur of the moment decision seeing as it was a great deal. will that mount the same in the cherokee without some welding or fabrication of any kind? and the transmission has just been replaced on the grand and mine has just gone out. see my dilemma?

42re is a crappy trans and the work to TRY to get it to work wouldnt be worth it. Should have done some homework, huh

I mean I can sell the trans and there are plenty of parts I can still take off of it. the engine is pristine as well so I am not mad about it. how about converting obdII to obdI? I have a plethora of engine parts. would it bee too big of a mess or what?
