Default Wheel Bearings

While im driving there is a loud grinding noise when going left. I know its my front left wheel joints/ bearings, could possibly my axle rod or wheel fall off over time.

i had this problem with mine and i took it to my mechanic and he said it would be either the ball joints or the tie rod ends.

i only fixed the ball joints cuz they were in the worst condition... i think it was 90 for the parts( i went to auto zone and talked them down) and then 120 for labor at the garage. Im in the process of stocking up on spare parts from the local junk yards from the c4c coming in

120 for labor is really cheap considering the amout of work involved with the ball joints on these thing

Changing ***** joints is a walk in the park if you got a ball joint press. Takes about an hour.

I always bought my parts on my own before i take it to a shop. It saves so much $$ rather than having them do it. Autozone will always match or beat a price so make sure you do some research before going to the store. I woulda paid alot more if i didnt. My mechanic only charges like 45-50 an hour for labor so its definitely an awesome deal. I also did check out his work and talked to other customers before i actually went to him.. good guy pretty trustworthy. Theyre hard to come by these days w.o paying outrageous amounts for labor.

I did mine myself, I wouldent call it a walk in the park but its not super hard. Its way easier if you have the correct adapters for the D30, which I didnt have since D30 ball joints are mounted at a funny angle.

another suggestion for the ball joints is to get different grease fittings. Put the 90 degree fittings so its easier to fill em up from time to time
