Default What model is my Cherokee?

I own a 90 Cherokee 2 door. I'm curious to find out what model my XJ is.

Some features are:

A/C

Vinyl flooring(factory) NO CARPET

Power steering and brakes

Manual windows and door locks

No cruise control

No console

Pretty much a stripped down vehicle with very little in the way of options.

So based on what I have listed, what model is my XJ? Is there any kind of tag or character in the VIN that will tell for sure what model this is?

I don't think they had the SE designation in 1990. Yours is a Base Cherokee.
They had Pioneer, Laredo, and Limited as upgraded option packages.

No center console? I have a 96 XJ SE and I even have one lol..
Do you have steering column shift or something? I've never heard of it on an XJ.

Nope no console, only the trim that goes around the floor mounted shifter and the E brake handle.

As far as the decoder is concerned.either im not reading it correctly,or its way off.

My VIN IS

1J4FJ27L1LL (XXXXXX)

The other website decoder says this:

I think you may have just won the award for having the weirdest Jeep on here lol. The original owner must have ordered it from the factory like that because I'm almost 100% sure every XJ came with a rear wiper and a full center console.

This might seem too easy...but Base = SE. It was just classified differently by Jeep before 1994.

Nope...I've seen a few with no rear wiper and many with no full center console.
