Default What does the red wire do?

I want to add some lights to my jeep but i don't want to jerry rig them. i'd like to have some proper switches on the center console and nice and tidy wiring. does anyone have any suggestions or wiring diagrams? i'd like to have them on the bumper in front of the grill

For the switch i used a rear wiper switch. then install it in the dash with the other factory switches. it gives u on/flash/off options and is hi enough amps that i ran 2 6x9 kc's with no over heating issues.

Well, that's nice and tiddy for sure...My wiper was broken when I bought the thing, so that could be a viable option for sure...keep from having to run more wires etc...

oh wait, I may have read that wrong...Did you use the existing wiper switch set up that is already on the jeep?

Wondering if that's possible....

I plan on doing the same but with a factroy switch/panel to make it clean inside. (not a big fan of cheap plastiv taggles or light up crap)

but a good aftermarket switch in my opinion is this - (dependant on year ect)http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-...Q5fAccessories

Yes it would be powered until the relay is activated. It is not used in this setup though
