wrong section.

pros:cheap, retains previous ride quality, helps fit bigger tires
cons: no added flex, looks cheap

It does look really cheap but it does what it is suppose to. And the ride and flex are just as good with them as without so i'd say do it if I were you.

Run them in my tj, havent had any problems just a pain to put in. you get clean stable lift but a little rough on clean roads with bumps and stuff

X2 gotta read rules for posting and starting new threads in each section or you are gonna get an onslaught of post about it. spacers are alright for being cheap and clearance but i like springs.

I don't think qualifies for the Technical discussion or Jeep Builds. Should be in here... https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f59/ .
BTW, what is a lower trac bar ? ?

Sorry for the confusion I mean upper control arms, lower control arms and trac bar.I am not trieng to be cheap on the lift at all.I did get a 4.5" RE kit and I was debating on adding a 2" or 1.25" spacer to it.

Im confused. 4.5" coils plus a 2" spacer will be 6.5" up front but 3.5" rear pack and 5" shackle will give you 8.5" in the back. Why a 5" shackle?

i think he means that the rear shackle will net 2.5 inches lift. think about the geometry of putting only one shackle with the axle half way on the leafs.

I figured as much but thats not what is stated, so I had to ask. And im sure a 5" shackle can be ghetto rigged on there one way or another. Haha.
