What is this connector?
I posted this question on my build page https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/20...blacky-205238/ but had no resonce so I'm trying here.
I'm swapping a VW TDI into my 2000 XJ.
When I pulled the 4L I marked all the connectors but this one must have been missed or I pressure washed the lable off.
Its close to the main fuse box in the engine compartment.
Someone must have a 2000 XJ that they can lift the hood on and tell me what this jack connects to.
Thanks for any help.

That looks like connector C108.
Four wires in/four wires out.
One wire goes to the AC Compressor Clutch
Two wires to the Alternator
One wire to the Starter solenoid

I have that one marked, it was a gray housing on my Jeep.
This black one is a bit farther to the front of the harness.
Closer to where the battery would have been.

It may be for a daytime running lamp module if it has seven wires going to it, but my daytime running lamp module connector is further back towards the firewall and between the right inner fender and the PDC.
This 2000 isn't a California Emissions Jeep is it - with LDP? Or had an LDP.

Cool, let me know what is next. I love a mystery.
Make sure that connector open end is securely sealed. Power is supplied to the servo from the PCM with no fuse that you can pull to cut power to it.
Q on your pic: Is that an air cleaner box under your hand?

I've noticed that same connector on the right side of my '00 XJ near the fuse box area. It's not hooked to anything. I have cruise control and it works fine so at least on mine that's not what it is???
