"VSS" Vehicle Speed Sensor...
Could a bad VSS be whats causing my very high idle(1800-2000 RPMs) and jumpy speedomoeter needle? I have changed the TPS and MAP sensor and cleaned the IAC sensor and found no vacume leaks. The high idle comes about after my '91 XJ (4.0, AW4, 242) warms up. The jumpy speedo needle is not often but happens around 55MPH.
Could it be that my Jeep is running too lean or too rich causing the high idle? Ive done alot of searching on here and someone said it might be a loose intake manifold or bad gasket or both. Even a bad TB gasket.
Im getting ready to go to Moab for the first time so I could realy use the help.
Thanks...
