valve cover gasket
ok, i know i have seen here about the valve cover leaking. while I'm digging in to the job of pulling the exhaust manifold, i figure i will get the valve cover gasket swapped too. what brand to purchase? any better than the other?

Fel-Pro PermaDry/PermaDryPlus is the way to go for the valve cover gasket. The PermaDry is rubber coated steel and the PermaDryPlus is silicone coated steel, both are far superior to the standard cork gaskets.

Maybe it is my decrepit laptop but there is no picture in the link, it has a spot where it should be that says to click on it for full size and when I do it acts like it is going to open but won't.

I'm having the same issue, cliffy. It doesn't show on my phone or laptop, but I see it posted on here now.
There are a couple pics that don't show on the list of tips. I don't know why. Thank you for posting that new one up
