I feel like a noob asking this, but what do the vacuum lines do exactly?

something to do with your a/c... when you punch it you lose your a/c if you dont have the vacuum tank hooked up.. as soon as you stop though, you get the cold air back. Dont ask why, i just know what it does.. idk why

supply vacuum to various areas. eg: your heater and a/c system, mode doors-when changing your directional flow of air from your windshield to the floor, the vacuum helps move and hold the doors in various stages. some vehicles also use vacuum to advance the timing in your distributor. i think....

Dont unhook the one to your brake booster.

you can make a homemade propane kit and hook it up to your vac. line for some added HP.
