Thinking about getting some better exhaust. Ive looked at the flowmaster series and like what im hearing. Are there any inherent problems with this brand?

The flowmaster brand is good in everyday. If you are looking for cheap and mild sounding, I'd suggest the 40 series. If you are looking for loud, less restrictive, and built to OFFROAD with, I'd suggest the 10 series.

Looking for everyday medium sound. My town would hang me if i bought to 10 series. DO i need to redo the entire exhaust from the header back or just the muffler? Is there a 96 kit?

Just subscribing to this thread. I am in the same boat, with the same year model.

But one thing I know is that I will have to replace my cat. Pretty sure it is rattling under the Jeep. It's annoying.

The ten is very loud. To install any muffler you just have to either unclamp/cutoff old one and replace it and reclamp it and if need install a spacer. The old pipe should still be retainable
