Transmission line disconnect at radiator????
1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L 6cyl 4x4
I'm trying to replace my radiator and am not able to disconnect the lower transmission line. Auto Zone sold me the tools they said I would need for $20 but I must be an idiot cuz it doesn't seem to work. I tried pushing the tool in as hard as I could and tried pulling the tool back and forth but no luck..
And why the H___ did Jeep decide to use a fitting like this in the 1st place? The top one easily unscrews with a crescent wrench but the bottom is making ME boil over! Anyone got hints??

I just broke the line off the rad so i could bring it up to where i could see, then broke the crap out it to remove the bronze line. Replaced rad, new plastic clip and its all good now.

Wait 'till u change out all the a/c components under the hood.......there's 4 of those so-called quick connects and 1 bolt together connection. Give u 3 guesses and the 1st 2 don't count which connection breaks loose the easiest.
