Default Tranny problems & stalling

Hey I recently have had problems with my 94 4.0 auto, was wondering if anyone has encountered this before because the shop is stumped ( of course) anyway, my problem is my tranny bucks occasionally but it shifts fine and doesn't seem like its slipping, I'm just going along just fine then boom, tranny bucks, this problem is usually accompanied with the stalling issue, no engine puttering or anything it's just like I put it in neutral and turned the key, if you had the radio up loud you wouldn't even noticed it turned off except the power stearing and brakes quit haha anyway I don't get any codes or anything but I'm trying to think of anything that might cause this sort of thing, it only happens about once a week but I'm worried about tearing up my transmission if I don't figure it out soon, any ideas?

Yes, actually today was the first time I had to let it sit for like 5 minutes (after it starting up twice no prob) every other time it would start back up easy

When the engine kills do the idiot lights come on (like you had the key in "ON"?)

The idiot lights should come on with the key "ON" and the engine stalled. If they don't, I'd start by looking at the ignition switch and connector.

Thanks I'll check it out, would an ignition switch or connector problem contribute to the bucking or am I most likely looking at 2 separate problems?

You mentioned your power steering and brakes quit as well? Seems more than an isolated transmission problem, tbh.
