So, I got the axle out of the axle shaft... finally... I bought an air hammer since I needed it for the broklen rear shock bolts anyway. Got the thing out... I don't think it has been out since purchase, now to clean it out. Still working on the Ball joints, but wanted to update.

For anyone who cares I just got my driver side done. Very easy with harbor freight ball joint press. My joints were bad. The bolt on the top side fell out and the bottom has lots of wobble. Anyhow that little 60$ ball joint press has paid for itself in u joints and ball joints already.

True. I just rented mine for 105, and I get my money back upon returm., and I was happy with the ease of getting the ball joints out.

Did mine this past weekend. That clamp tool makes all the difference in the world. Taking my time, it me about 4 hours to do all 4 ball joints. I should've taken pics and done a write up looking back now.

unfortunatley, it took me way longer to just do the two. 23 years of rust bound it together, and i spent all night hitting the wrong spot to break the axle free. would take prbably and hour or 2 to get the other side done since I know how to do it. lol. Yes, the clamp set makes all the differance in the world.
