Default supercharger for 4.0L

i'm interested in putting a supercharger on my 98 XJ 4.0L but am having difficulty finding sites with products. there's a lot of information about the installation process but few sites have been helpful in locating, purchasing or comparing products. i've heard that a "stroker build" is more plausible and less costly but am unfamiliar with this process. any help out there?

you can get the same power from a stroker for just a lil less then what you would pay for a super charger...Kenneybell has one that would fit IF you had a cowl hood on your cherokee....

$4200 for only 50 hp seems like a waste of money. My old boss had a tj that he fitted a T3 turbo to and used mustang fuel injectors. Cant remember what the power numbers were though.

SERIOUSLY!!!

You know what kind of fuel injected small block you could build with that kind of money? Wouldn't you rather hear the rumble of a V8 under the hood with over 4K invested?

It would up the resale value, wouldn't it?

A little less, try around 3000K less. They own you with that kit. Hairdryers have lag, unless your running a tiny one. Superchargers have that good bottom end you want but peak at the top. I would go stroker since its WAY cheaper.

Check these out, just a couple examples of a cheap base stroker kit

Those turbo kits are darn near the same price. Ouch! You may be able to get a local shop to do it cheaper though.
