super swamper tsl review
i just got a new set of swamper tsls this week and man let me tell u....first they wouldnt balance worth a **** and they r brand new!! took forever and alot of weights to get the ****ers balanced.
now they are balanced and they go smooth and straight down the road, well not so smooth lol but man the moan like a *****!!! I MEAN THEY ARE LOUD!! on the highway it sounds like a airplane is right bove you taking off. and with the windows up you would swear i got some kind of jet turbine engine rigged up in the back of the truck lol. they are crazy loud but hey its kinda cool that people hear you before they see you coming. lol
anyways they are unbeliveable in the mud, hands down best mud tires ever besides boggers.
but im sure i will get sick of the noise soon so i figure i will do one of two things...
1. buy all terrains and sell the swampers. or 2. just get louder exhaust to drown out the tire noise haha, not sure which yet.

After having swampers in the mud, the All Terrains are gunna **** you off... What I did until my jeep became trail only was grabbed a cheap set of rims and some wal-mart tires for the highway.... That way I had best of both worlds. Swampers go on so the wife and child don't get bored with jeeping because I got stuck in a little mud, then highway tires go on so I'm not yelling at the family when I get out the jeep... But if you ever do decide to sell them drop me a line

tsl's suck
no idea where you are located, but the cold months are coming up here, and they flat spot terribly, to the point where i can't drive above 40 mph until they heat up.
and a terrible rock tire

sell the tsl's and buy more of a street friendly mud terrain...like the bfg mud terrain, cooper stt, pro comp mud terrain, or even firestone destination mud terrains....
you will still hear the hummm on the street but not as much...plus you will get a lot more miles out of say bfg m/t then your tsl's...

hands down those tires push normal stock height jeeps through crazys stuff but they arent realistic for daily drivers, they are way to soft, you can watch ur money wear away

swampers are not designed for street use so expect flat spotting and noise. what psi you running? when i had swampers, i had them at 28 psi and they wore fast in the middle so i had to go down to 21 psi just to get a decent contact with the road and they started wearing slower and across the entire tread. this was with my tj and its heavier than the xj so you probably need 20ish or less psi.
expect to balance them frequently or throw beads in the tires and forget about them till they are bald. beads help big time when it comes to tires that are hard to balance.
enjoy the gnarly lookin tires!

i actually run 32 psi...too much for swampers? im trying to get the best gas mileage, which is about 12 lol. but we got snow already and my tracks behind me defiantly look like only the center of the tire is touching the ground. but since i drive about 30 miles one way to work on the interstate everyday and then come home and go mudding every day is it really a good idea to go down to 20psi??
