Default brakes

after putting new brake pads on do i NEED to bleed the system? its a 91 non abs. im doing front and rear. i saw a how to on here and it said nothing about bleeding just making sure

With just pads shoes rotors and drums no. If you take off a caliper or wheel cylinder, yes.

you should be fine, but it never hurts to bleed out some of that old gunky fluid and replace with fresh clean brake juice. you never know, there may be a bubble or two of air in there

you can do the front pads too. Just push the caliper pistons in slowly and no bleeding will be needed. You may get some fluid coming out of the master cyl. cover but it's normal
