Default motor swap

I need help here i just put in a 4.0 from a zj. And my motor mounts dont match up. So i changed the mounts on the block and they dont match up so is there something i need to customize or change?

You should post some pictures of what you're talking about.

Did you take the engine brackets off your old engine and put them on the replacement block?

Yes i did after i tryed to fit it in there for 2 hrs then realized it was those that were off. What im going to do is try to get the trans mounted losen up motor mounts and just see how everything falls into place

Odds are the trans mount is shot, allowing the engine to move.

Using all my xj stuff. My goal is 6" long arm on 35s half cage with lockers
