You can put 6.5s in the rear also but you can't re-use the stock speaker grille.

I got a pair of pioneer 6.5" behind the front panels of a 97 without too much trouble. I haven't messed with the rears.

I used Polk MM series 5 1/4" Ft. doors and 6.5" in the rear. Pioneer 800W amp under Pass.front seat (the Pioneer amp fits perfect). Kenwood Head unit. Sounds awesome with out a sub.

Yea i bought my jeep about 2 months ago and i finaly ordered a 3 inch lift kit from rough country and i am about to get some off road light and speakers. Prob going to put 4 light on the front and 2 in the rear.

As for speaker i will prob go with the 5 1/4 to make things easy and as for the brand not quite sure yet not really to picky.
