Nobody will be able to answer that for you. You bought all the other parts from Mopar, so why cheaped out on this one?
With aftermarket engine management sensors, the reliability is less, causing you to end up still questioning the part even though you replaced it and it didn't solve the issue.

Get a mopar one and stay away from aftermarket parts not worth the hassle

I had checked connection to CPS first. wasn't the issue. I replaced the $55 off brand unit with a Mopar, $117 from the dealership. It did fire right back up, I only hope that this was the issue. I am riding with a knot in my stomach, especially every time I have to start it, hoping it cranks up. Does anybody have any thoughts on what may cause the cam sensor to foul out? (In case this happens again) Thanks.

Nothing in particular, other than that sensors in general are things that should be considered maintenance items. Not sure if there are specific intervals, but the CPS for example is a very well known cause for n-starts, bucking, stalling etc. and will liely fail somewhere during its life in the 4.0
Sensors can fail gradually/intermittently over time, or overnight.
Let us know again how this goes.

Some time later, in a galaxy far far away, the 4.0 no-start showing up again. Has been cranking and running fine. suddenly not. same scenario as in earlier post. isn't there a way that I can test these sensors?(cps and cam sensor) after troubleshooting down the list yet once again, I am at a loss. either cps, or cam sensor causing my latest no starts. both have been replaced new mopar inside of a year. too bad elect sensors have no warranties! help please!
