Also where are the solenoids for my transmission and how do I know the tps??

Oh....I see you have a 89, Renix. I know they have some differences c/t the newer ones, but the AW4 will be the same. Your TPS (throttle position sensor) however is something that was adjustable in your year (please find Cruiser54's Mostly Renix Tips in his sig).

Below a pic of the solenoids, when you drop your transmission fluid pan.

So what is the first thing I should check out? Like what is more important or could be a bigger problem
